Holiday Recess Homework Assignment
Before everyone leaves for the extended recess, here's your homework assignment for the holidays.
Rest and relax: this school year has been a whirlwind of activity as educators, parents, and students alike became accustomed to many new experiences. The time off is a perfect time to take a break, recharge our batteries, and prepare for the new year.
Reflect: take inventory of all that has been accomplished in 2013. Recognize the many successes and identify those priorities you would like to focus on moving forward for a successful new year.
Enjoy: life is a precious gift so savor every moment you spend with your friends, family, and loved ones. Read a book, play games, share stories, and laugh a lot. It will all be time well spent.
On behalf of the Board of Education and all the administrators of Wayne Township Public Schools, we want to wish our entire community a wonderful holiday season. May your days be filled with happiness, your nights filled with peace, and your new year filled with love, health, and laughter.
