5th Grade Students Experience Fairview Lake

5th Grade Students Experience Fairview Lake The 5th grade students from Packanack, Randall Carter and Ryerson enjoyed coming together at Fairview Lake in Stillwater NJ for this year's three day, two night outdoor encampment experience.

Some student favorites included a 3 mile hike climbing to the summit of the Kittatinny Ridge along the Appalachian Trail, colonial crooking and candle making, cruising on the lake to explore lake limnology and learning how to build a shelter out of sticks as a survival skill.
