Book Discussion Testament Of Mary
31 May
following the 10am service

This Sunday the book group will meet one last time before the summer. Lance Dalzell-Piper will lead a discussion of the Testament of Mary, by Colm Toibin.

Toibin is an Irish poet and well regarded literary figure, and former Catholic, who says in interviews that he still cannot stop thinking about Mary.  This is a literary interpretation of Mary's thoughts, impressions and emotions as she watches her son become Jesus Christ.  Come share your thoughts and observations regarding how May must have experienced the ministry and passion of Jesus.  The book won multiple awards, and it is short!

Summer Choir Begins!Choir
7 June
9am

Although the full choir will be on a well-deserved summer break starting on June 7, we will nevertheless continue to have a summer choral program which we call the "Pick-up Choir."  We invite any and all interested parishioners to come to the choir loft on Sunday morning at 9am to learn the hymns, Psalm and anthem for that morning, which we will then sing at the 10am service.

It's not necessary to come every week, just on those days when you are here, so there is no commitment!  Even if you have not sung with the choir before, you are welcome to join us.  We hope to see you up here in the loft on Sunday.
