To Johnna Coats, Janice Dalzell-Piper, Betsy Menzel (for the licensing), the social committee, and all the helper angels who pulled together a fabulous Oktoberfest party.
Thank you Lois Cannady, Zoila Schoenbrun and Ginny Doyle for the terrific FDR Anasazi Luncheon.
And thanks to the crew who helped with the Stewardship mailing: Ginny Preston, Dorothy Jones, Dee Bowman, Jean Fair, Claire McAuliffe and Sharon Hilpert.
Also, did you know Jo Ann Haseltine folds, seals, stamps and mails your Touchstone, every time one shows up in your box. Look for one this weekend.

On Sunday, November 2, St. Stephen's will celebrate All Saints Day by celebrating the Eucharist within the context of Gabriel Faur's Requiem. The wonderful St. Stephen's choir will sing pieces of Requiem throughout the service.
If you would like to remember someone during the Eucharist who died this past year (Nov.1, 2013-present), please send that person's name to Rob or the church office no later than Tuesday, October 28th.
If you would like to remember any person who has died, regardless of when they died, please bring a picture or piece of clearly marked memorabilia to the church. These remembrances will be placed on a special remembrance altar to be located in the narthex.

Christmas Pageant
Sunday
26 October
Meeting after the 10am service
This year's Christmas pageant will be held on Sunday morning, December 21, as part of the 10am service!. This new time calls for a re-imagined and reinvigorated pageant. It is a participatory pageant. Not only are children invited to participate, but adults, as well! Everyone can join in the fun - and it will be fun. We will have farm animals in the Pageant and there will be a petting zoo before and after the service. Attend the informational meeting on October 26, following the 10am service, or speak to Joe Jennings.
