Artist-in-Residence
Women's Knitting Group
November Show
The Women's Knitting and Crocheting Ministry will be November's featured artists. Since its inception, the Knitting Ministry has made and given out over 100 prayer shawls. These are lovingly made and prayed over by the group for people facing health challenges, grief or other loss. We've received many heart-warming stories from recipients which keeps us knitting.
As requests for prayer shawls diminished, we turned to making items for the Marin County Well Baby Clinic in San Rafael. These include hats, sweaters and small blankets. We've also made many scarves for Veterans living in the Yountville Home. We hope you enjoy this glimpse into our ministry, and we welcome you to join us, second and fourth Mondays, 10:30am. All skill levels welcome.

Zealot Book Discussions
Adult Education
This Sunday
This Sunday after the 10am service please join Karl Belgum for the second installation of discussion on the provocative book Zealot.
Zealot: the Life and Times of Jesus of Nazareth was published earlier this year and immediately made the best seller list. Reze Aslan has attempted to write a "biography" of what Jesus must have "really" been like, by meticulously examining the culture and politics of Roman Palestine. Aslan was raised a Muslim, became a Christian as a teenager, and graduated from Harvard Divinity School.

Rotating Emergency Shelter Dinner

Thanksgiving in the Wilderness
Wednesday
November 27
4pm
This year's Thanksgiving service will be held in the hills above Tiburon, looking out over the Bay and the Golden Gate Bridge. Plan to attend this simple eucharist at 4pm on the Wednesday afternoon before Thanksgiving. You can park at the end of Ridge Road.
To access Ridge Road (approximately near 662 Ridge Rd.), take Divisio Street up the hill where at the point where Centro East meets Centro West. Divisio runs into Vistazo East and Vistazo West. Travel along Vistazo West for about a hundred feet, then turn right onto Ridge road. At Lagoon, Ridge Road takes a sharp right, and then at Straights View Drive, Ridge road takes a hard left. Ridge Road ends at the Tiburon Hills, and you can walk the somewhat even path about 100 yards out to the service.
