Moon Pie Summer Sundays!
This Sunday Professional Folk Singers, Maggie and Frank Siegfried will sing a special bluegrass folk song at the 10am service.
This Summer, our children and youth are integrated into services in meaningful ways, and services last no longer than one hour, sometimes a bit less. Plan to attend these relaxed services regularly, and give your children the faith structure they've missed because of a busy school season. Make sure to let the office know how your kids can participate. |
Youth to Park with Sam
After the 10am service every Summer Sunday, Sam will take all youth who are interested in spending time at the park. Snacks, ice cream and drinks will be provided.
This week Sam is excited to announce there will be an epic tetherball tournament with a grand prize!
Parents can pick up the kids by 1pm at the park.

Your opportunity to sing at St. Stephen's!
Summer Pick-Up Choir

whole family! Just show up by
9am on Sunday morning to learn an easy anthem. |
The Siempre Unidos Chicken Coop is built!
You provided the means for 11 chickens, 1 rooster and one fine coop! Dozens of families will now have the protein they need. Thank you! (It is difficult to comprehend that folks in the developing world have so little compared to our abundance...)
Siempre Unidos says "Thank you" to St. Stephen's, for helping to obtain chickens for eggs and for the coop! This project was made possible by our great St. Stephen's kids who saved their change during Lent (and parishioners too!)

Muir Woods
Monday
July 1
On Monday, July 1st, the group will hike the Fern Creek Trail or explore the Park - your choice!
Fern Creek Trail (3+ miles) is moderately strenuous with significant elevation change and numerous steps; or enjoy self-guided nature trails within the Park. Bring a sandwich to eat "outside of the Park" or dine at the Gift Shop Cafe. Entrance fee is $7.00.
Meet at 9:30am to carpool from the parking lot behind Walgreen's on Hwy 1 in Tam Valley. We will return to parked cars by 2pm.

Camp Create
July 15-19
Camp Create is a rich arts experience of drumming, singing, painting, drawing, dancing, and story-telling that we offer to Southern Marin children from diverse cultural communities as well as our own St. Stephen's youth. Join our closing "fiesta" potluck and music! Friday, July 19 at 6pm.
Thank you to generous parishioners who have given financial support, and to those who are offering precious time.
We still have room for campers and counselors and, of course, welcome new offers of time and money. Give a small amount or a lot: a few hours, or a day or two. Everything is gratefully received.
Use the links below for information about youth counselors, the camp and registration for Camp Create.
Please email Shari Young, Associate Rector and Camp Director, if you can help: shari@ststephenschurch.org
