Don't Forget to send in your
Capital Campaign Pledge!

Honoring our Legacy CampaignSt. Stephen's

The Honoring Our Legacy Campaign will end in just three weeks. Several people, amazed that over

$1 million has been raised already, asked, "What difference could my pledge make?"  Your pledge makes all the difference.  Your pledge stands between the Church and 100% participation.  Your pledge stands between the present tally and the goal of $1.6 million.  Fifty pledges at $6,000 becomes $300,000.  One hundred pledges of $2,000 is $200,000.  Your pledge is everything.

Death and Dying ClassWalk

Sundays

26 May, 2 June, 9 June

after the 10am service

Beginning May 26th, Rob Gieselmann will lead a three-week discussion on death, following the 10am service each Sunday.  Yes, death.  Rob is convinced that this universal experience is the least-talked-about part of our spiritual journeys, yet the most common.

May 26 - Rob will read a passage from his own book about his wife's, Laura's, death, discuss his experiences of the deaths of others, and then invite discussion.  You can purchase Rob's book at coffee hour this Sunday for $6.

June 2 - Rob will lead a discussion on heaven, and include a little physics and testimonials of near-death experiences.

June 9 - Rob will talk about planning for your own death, and you will have the opportunity to plan your own funeral.
