Tweet Treat Bird Feeder

After church, kids and the young-at-heart are invited to make a "Tweet Treat:" A pinecone covered with peanut butter and bird seed to hang from your tree or have for your enjoyment. Have the kids do this while you attend the "Christmas Stories" class.

Christmas Faire

Come one, come all to the first ever Christmas Faire at St. Stephen's Church! From 9am to 1:30pm in Kimball Hall, St. Stephen's craftspersons, cooks, and writers will be showing and selling their beautiful, original pieces for the holidays. These will include jewelry, ceramics, decorated Christmas trees, painted scarves, cards, baked goods and newly published books. If you would like to help in any way call Ginny Doyle at 435-6540.

Introduction to Luke part 2

The Giving Tree

Take an ornament (name and age are on the back) from the Christmas Tree in Kimball Hall and buy a present for a low income child or youth through the Ritter House. Attach your ornament to your present and please return by December 9th.
If due to unforeseen circumstances you are unable to bring your present donation to the Church by Sunday, December 9th, you will need to take it to Ritter House. |
Christmas Pageant Costumes:
Pick Up This Sunday
All children are invited to pick up costumes for the December 24th Christmas Pageant. (Founders' Room off Parish Hall entry hall.) If they have a role, great; if they don't, come pick up an animal, shepherd, or angel costume. All are welcome to participate!

Youth Confirmation Meeting

Rob Gieselmann and Shari Young will be offering a youth confirmation class (held most Sunday afternoons) beginning in January through Easter. If you have confirmation-age youth (eighth grade or older) who is interested in confirmation, please let Rob or shari know, and plan to attend the upcoming informational meeting this Sunday, at 4:15pm in the upstairs conference room. Confirmands and their families are asked to stay for Sunday Second, at 5:30pm during which a prayer of dedication will be offered.

Join Anasazi on December 7th at 11am in the Parish Hall to hear our own John Karl Hirten as he gives a presentation entitled, "Image is Everything: The Pipe Organ on Film." He has had a lifelong interest in the movies and how Hollywood both represents and misrepresents the King of Instruments. The talk includes a fifty minute video with scenes from various movies over the years. Don't miss it! |

This year's Joyful Sounds of Christmas concert is on Sunday, December 9th at 4pm. Orchestra members from American Bach Soloists will be joining the St. Stephen's choir for this year's concert. The Three Christmas Stories: Matthew, Luke and Now

The class is for adults and parents who want to find meaning in the Advent-Christmas season for their personal and family spiritual life today. Please read the Matthew and Luke Christmas stories before class, if possible. |

In a basket in the narthex you will find envelopes for making special Christmas flower offerings. All offerings will be noted in the Christmas bulletins; please write on the envelope if you would like a special dedication and and your preferred verbiage.
If you prefer, you may mail a check to St. Stephen's (PO Box 97, Belvedere, CA 94920) with Christmas Flowers marked in the memo line and please include your dedication.
