One of the most popular requests MOROF receives is about staffing issues. Medical facilities are in need of a better way to find quality staff. While the conventional ways of finding applicants work most of the time, they can be expensive and limited. The cost is almost always paid by the provider and if the employee does not work out the provider has to pay again to begin the tedious process.

The best time to do tax planning and look at ways to save money in taxes is before the end of the year. This is also the time to set up a retirement plan or to make sure your retirement plan is being fully funded for the year. In talking with medical professionals in Central Florida I find they are often focused on doing a great job in taking care of their patients but are not as involved in reviewing the business income and expenses of their practice and looking for ways to save money in taxes.

Jokes of the Month
An Old man went to the doctor complaining of a terrible pain in his leg. "I am afraid it's just old age", replied the doctor, "there is nothing we can do about it." "That can't be" fumed the old man, "you don't know what you are doing." "How can you possibly know I am wrong?" countered the doctor. "Well it's quite obvious," the old man replied, "my other leg is fine, and it's the exact same age!" __________________________________________________________
Prisoner: Look here, doctor! You've already removed my spleen, tonsils, adenoids, and one of my kidneys. I only came to see if you could get me out of this place! Doctor: I am, bit by bit. __________________________________________________________ A man wasn't feeling well so he went to the doctor. After examining him the doctor took his wife aside, and said, "your husband has a very sensitive heart. I am afraid he's not going to make it, unless you treat him like a king, which means you are at his every beck and call, 24 hours a day and that he doesn't have to do anything himself. On the way home the husband asked with a note of concern "what did he say?" "Well", the lady responded, "he said it looks like you probably won't make it."
