It's Christmas Week at the middle and high school! Break out the festive headbands!

Greetings!

Lots of activities are happening at the middle and high school for Christmas Week! We will be observing Advent each morning, the teachers are making breakfast for the high school on Friday, and Secret Santa has begun for both the middle and high school! Most classrooms K-12 will be celebrating together on Friday, so be sure to see if your student has signed up to bring anything.

Early dismissal on Friday. Have a safe and wonderful holiday!

Please visit the article below to find a link to our Accreditation Survey. The survey can be completed online in about 15 minutes, and helps us to meet our accreditation requirements. Thank you in advance for your help with this!

 Teacher Gifts

As you may remember, one tradition at CSLA is the giving of a monetary gift for the teachers around the holidays.

A HUGE Thank-You goes to the Grade School parents and families for their generosity at the Grade School Concert!  What a blessing.

As you have heard, we are changing the 6th - 12th grade format this year.  The Christmas Program will be moved to the 16th and 17th of January to coincide with the One-Act Festival.  We will now have a Fine-Arts night!  On those nights, we will be celebrating all the arts, with drama, vocal and instrumental music, and graphic arts as well as presentations from our Creative Writing class.  All are welcome to attend.

For middle and high school families that would have donated at this MS/HS event, we would ask that you make your contribution to the office for the teacher gift by the 17th of Dec.  Thank You!

Survey Link

As part of our school accreditation, we are asked to assign our parents the task of completing a survey from Advanc-ed - the organization that oversees our accreditation.  We have to have a high level of response in order to check this part of the accreditation process off our list.  If you have a few minutes (the teachers took about 20 min to complete their survey) would you please copy and paste the link below into your browser and follow the prompts that follow.  The surveys go directly to Advanc-ed and we only get the results after the survey is closed.  We plan to close the survey on Dec. 19, unless we have not met our needed goal.

We have not met our mark yet.  Please take a few minutes if you can during this week to help us out.

Thanks so much for your time and effort on this.
