RTT-D Briefings with Mayor Mike McGinn and Seattle City Council

Recently, Seattle Mayor Mike McGinn and the Seattle City Council received briefings of the RTT grant. The presentations included overviews of grant goals and projects, as well as a focus on what the grant means for Seattle.

At the meeting with Mayor Mike McGinn, his informal Education Leadership Team (ELT) was also in attendance. The ELT strives to improve education and student outcomes through networking and innovative methods of funding.

During the city council briefing, council members were presented with different data pieces that emphasized Seattle's role in the consortium. Further, council members asked many interesting questions, including how they could support the work of the grant.
