Music Drama Camp

July 15-19

Follows VBS/KidServe
on Monday through Thursday.

Performs a lunch matinee on Friday.

 For children who have completed
the 1st through 5th grades.

 Registration for VBS, KidServe, and Music Drama Camp will begin in May. Each event will require separate registration.  

 JAMS: Jesus And Me Sleepovers

First session this Saturday!

 

What: Second Saturday Sleepovers 

When: 7 p.m. Saturday, March 9

to 12:15 p.m. Sunday, March 10
Who: 3rd- through 5th-graders

This month's JAMS falls on Scout Sunday. Scouts should bring their uniforms and plan on attending 11:00 service with their families. Scout parents should check their children out of their Sunday school classes at 10:45. They will be in uniform.

 

One more thing: Any kids who are maybe a tiny bit worried about spending the night but would like to join in the Saturday evening fun, SHOULD COME!

What: Christian running/walking group training

for the Rockfish 5k Adventure Run on April 27

When: 4 p.m. each Sunday (except Easter)

Who: Anyone, any age, any fitness level

Where: Old Fellowship Hall

Palm Sunday Egg Hunt
After the children wave the palms in church! 
  
What: Pizza and Easter egg hunt
When: March 24th, right after 11:00 services (Hunt will start around 1 p.m.)
Where: New Life Center for lunch
Preschoolers will hunt eggs in the front courtyard.
Elementary-age kids will hunt on the front lawn.
Cost: $2 for pizza. Please, pay at the door. Lunch reservations are appreciated. Forms are available in the front office.
  

Parents are asked to bring a dozen filled plastic eggs per child

to Dorothy's office by March 21st.

Extra eggs and candy donations for unexpected guests

would be great!

Spring Break-Away for  Military Parents
Free time to show our appreciation and love.
 
What: An afternoon to "break away" for mom and/or dad and the kids! Parents can use this time to run errands, to rejuvenate alone or in adult company, or maybe just to sleep. Kids will have a great time with friends, sharing fun and activities that are Christ-centered. Snacks and drinks will be provided for the kids.
When: Saturday, April 13th from 1:30-5:30 pm
Who: Anyone who has a family member who is active duty, reservist, National Guard or a contractor serving overseas.
 
Other great things you will want to take advantage of while at Haymount UMC on that day:
  • A BBQ lunch or dinner - served in the New Life Center.
  • A yard sale in the Fellowship Hall that morning.
  • Second session of JAMS: Jesus And Me Sleepovers
Registration for Spring Break-Away is requested by April 5th. 
 Rockfish Day Camp
A week of swimming, hiking, mud, and s'mores!
  
When: June 17-21
Who: Kids who have completed kindergarten through 5th grades
