Sisterhood Gives Thanks!
Sisterhood wants to thank its many members and Beth El congregants who supported the Chanukah Bazaar this past Sunday. In case you missed that event, we will host a small sales table at the JCC's Festival on December 6. Proceeds from both events will go to supporting Talmud Torah. Note that we have placed another order for Chanukah and Shabbat candles, which will be available through the Gift Shop. We take time now to acknowledge the contributions of Beth El's staff: Casey Baker for overseeing the bazaar's  floor plan and installation, Emily Hayes for providing advance publicity and photography during the event, and Sheri Hoffman for facilitating communications between the planning committee and vendors. We are grateful to the Men of Oil for their delicious latkes, Men of Beth El for logistics and labor, and the Watts Street Trio for musical accompaniment. Our next events will be Sisterhood Shabbat on Friday, January 22, and informal potluck dinner on Sunday, January 31. If you haven't yet joined Sisterhood for 2015-6 or want to learn more about us, please contact membership chair Sheri Hoffman or any Sisterhood board member.
