The Cross on the Road, Greetings and blessings to all, yesterday I got too hot while carrying the cross. The weather has been from 100 to 106 degrees F. My face was red, pressure in my chest, pain, hard to breath, shaking, weak, dizzy, and stumbling. But Glory to God, thank you Jesus I walked on till I got to Denise and Sophia. During these forty-four years I've been gone for months at a time in the searing heat day after day and night after night. I would always say 'I love the heat'. And walking, I could walk and walk, mile after mile, 20, 30 or more a day. I did this year after year. My mind thinks I still can ...but...it's tough. Tears fill my eyes because I still want to do as much as always. Denise and Sophia are helping me pace my mileage, and to avoid the heat we are starting our cross walks very early in the cool of the day. In three months I'll be 73, God willing. Praise Jesus we are still carrying the cross on...! I can still carry the cross and will. That is the call of Jesus. Now get this. While on the road here we took a day off from walking to rest and on that very day TBN TV aired "The Cross" movie for the first time on TV and was watched by many millions around the world as it played on the world's largest Christian TV network. We were flooded with visits to our website and e-mails. Lives were changed around the world as people were saved and followers of Jesus challenged to share Jesus. Many saying they would never be ashamed to share Jesus or that their fear had gone etc. On a day I needed rest I still carried the cross to millions of people!!! Glory! Jesus did it. Thanks also to TBN. Denise reminded me that since my heart attack in 2009 we've carried the cross well over two thousand miles. My son Joshua says, "Dad, you are living in encore time, the crowd keeps clapping and you keep coming back." Ha. During August and September we will have a two-day rally in Las Vegas and I'll host and also be a guest on TBN "Praise the Lord" (two hour program) seven different times. These will be from four different cities within the U.S but broadcast to the world. This is an incredible time to be alive. I'm really carrying the cross more than ever before and to more people. On each Praise program I have the cross as a focal point on the set. I always share Jesus and invite people to receive Jesus and follow Him. I always encourage people to share Jesus with others. I simply do on TV what I've been doing around the world on foot carrying the cross. I feel so humbled to see that Jesus keeps working through this cross-carrying servant. On this trip we have carried the cross in England, Spain and Portugal. It has been a glorious time of refreshment and witness. We carried the cross on the pilgrimage to Santiago in Spain. We have had the privilege of sharing Jesus with many and seen many saved and others strengthened in Jesus. All glory to God. We now go to Norway where my son Joshua and Nina live with their three children. He says it very cool up there! Will be preaching this Sunday in two different churches and doing a cross-walk with three of my grandchildren! How wonderful. Please keep us in your prayers as we carry the cross and preach and prepare for the many messages and TBN Praise programs in August and September. Our secretary Gail is in our office in Denver to make deposits and handle the online donations two days every week, even while we are gone. She processes the orders and shipments of our products and prepares what is necessary for our accountant. Please keep her in your prayers. Thanks for your great and faithful support.
