I began ministering on the streets of Hollywood in 1967. We build first cross and put it on the wall of His Place our Jesus nightclub on Sunset Strip in early 1968. I started doing short crosswalk along the Sunset Strip in 68'. Left from His Place on Christmas Day 1969 to carry the cross across America. Now completed every nation and major inhabited island group in the world (321) and over 40,000 walking miles sharing Jesus. Jesus did it. I left at 29 years old and return for this at the age of 72. Wow. Glory! Bring your church group, outreach group, family, friends, strangers. Let's flood Hollywood with Jesus! See you there or pray for us.

Thirty-Five Years Later, Hallelujah Hollywood ReturnsLOS ANGELES (December 7, 2012) - Thirty-five years after an informal gathering of over 10,000 people at Hollywood and Vine sparked the spontaneous "Jesus" event known as Hallelujah Hollywood, Trinity Broadcasting Network, cross-carrying street evangelist Arthur Blessitt, and a team of Los Angeles based ministries area will gather at Hollywood High School on December 15 for Hallelujah Hollywood 2012, a large-scale community outreach.
Arthur Blessitt, known for years as the "Minister of Sunset Strip," recalled how the original July 29, 1977 Hallelujah Hollywood came together:
"One night in the summer of 1977 I was a guest on TBN's Praise the Lord show, where I shared with Paul and Jan Crouch about how for the past eight years I had been carrying a 12-foot wooden cross around the nation and world as a witness for Christ. I also did a lot of outreach on Hollywood's Sunset Strip, where in 1968 I had opened a coffee house called His Place next to a strip club. That night on the air I invited Paul, Jan, and TBN viewers to join me that Friday, July 29th, 1977, as I walked the Strip, sharing Christ with street people, drug addicts, prostitutes, partiers, and whomever else I met.
"I fully expected just a handful of people to join the Crouches and myself that Friday evening, but when I got within just a few blocks of Hollywood and Vine I found the sidewalks packed with thousands of people who had accepted my informal invitation. As I met up with Paul and Jan, we were deluged with a glorious pandemonium of over ten thousand people of all ages excited to be a part of sharing Christ. As the police moved into action to try to bring some kind of order, I quickly sent people back to my office to get gospel material. That night we handed out 74,000 Jesus stickers and 40,000 gospel tracts, and many people came to Christ. It was a night I will never forget."
TBN Vice President Matt Crouch, who produced an award winning documentary film on Arthur Blessitt's life entitled The Cross, said the December 15th Hallelujah Hollywood will maintain the same focus as the original event 35 years ago. "Yes, this time we're better organized and have the blessing of city officials," Crouch said. "But the spirit will be the same as that night Arthur led an army of evangelists down Sunset Strip. It will be thousands of people coming together to minister life to those in need."
"Just like we witnessed that evening 35 years ago at Hollywood and Vine, Hallelujah Hollywood is all about doing the work of the gospel," said Dr. Crouch. "It's caring, sharing, and giving, all as a witness for Jesus and for God's glory. We're anticipating great things for the kingdom."
Arthur says "This Hallelujah Hollywood is a blending of worldwide TV with personal evangelism, mixed with social service all for the Glory of God and as a witness for Jesus! Many great organizations and people are coming together in this witness. It is a glorious mixing of the call of Jesus. To love, give, share and lift up Jesus for all people.
It will be a wonderful time of people coming to Jesus for salvation and Jesus meeting human needs both physical and spiritual.
The most needy place in the world is the human heart.
This is all about Jesus meeting the needs of people, blessing them and loving others and sharing Jesus."

We are praying daily for your prayer request that we have put on the crosses.
Three Crosses were used in carrying the cross around the world in every nation and major island group, they are behind my desk. E mail your prayer requests and I will print them off and lay all of them on the crosses as a covenant to God to pray for you daily. These request will be on the crosses until this Christmas. Denise, Sophia and I will be praying daily for all these request. It will be a blessing to pray for you. I felt the Lord tell me to do a prayer fast of not praying for myself till Christmas. He said "You pray for others, I'll take care of you". We will keep your request private until Christmas and then shred them. The crosses are covered with your prayer request several inches deep. We love you all. God bless you and have a Blessed Jesus Christmas and New Year. We will God willing be sending a Special photo and Christmas card just before Christmas.
