I will be sending a Report in the next week or so with some wonderful news, our meeting, TV, news and crosswalks.
We will be sharing more about the upcoming crosswalk in South Sudan.
I have preached the funeral of my dear, dear, friend and the man who stayed in touch with us on every crosswalk since the early 80's. I will miss Buddy Gaster beyond words. Our prayers are for his wife Nina and family. I cannot imagine life without Buddy. Oh how we loved him. We also visited our dear and close friend, pastor and evangelist David Allbriton in the hospital. Pray for him and his wife Linda and children. His family and ours are so close, real true friends. Also have several very close friends in very ill health. Several of our closest friends going back to 1970 have passed this year. A fresh reminder of how life passes and the true value of relationships and love one for another. I now have more family and friends on the 'other side' that this. So many who have loved, supported and stood with us for many years are now in heaven.
Have you prepared to meet God? Do you know for sure that Jesus is your Savior and Lord? If not trust, receive, repent and welcome Him.
Those of you saved. Have you prepared a will or trust and instructions for your health decisions should you not be able to make them. For the love of your family I urge you to do that. Also have you prepared to support the gospel going out to the world with your resources after your passing into Glory?
I am in wonder that Jesus keeps extending my life. However the calling He has for us is not yet complete. You can be sure until my last breath I will be lifting up Jesus and inviting the lost into the Arms and Family of Jesus. We will keep training others how to share Jesus.
Yet I am excited about all I see, hear and know of how the Holy Spirit is moving and raising up a new generation for His Glory.
Denise has been in ministry with me for twenty one years! A mighty witness in 294 nations, island groups and territories. Denise has been, is called to full time ministry. She will be ordained to the gospel ministry October 16th at Christ Fellowship Community Church, 31571 Rancho Viejo Rd. San Juan Capistrano, Ca. 92675, phone 949 481 8430
Sophia our seven year old daughter will also be ordained with her mother. She is a mighty witness and has been in 29 nations and been on 183 airplane flights for Jesus. They are totally committed to Jesus and the carrying of the cross and the message of the cross and Jesus and will continue this ministry God willing, when I depart to Glory! I'm sure you will support them as you have us in the past.
The best I can put it is to give this scripture from Paul in the first chapter of Philippians.
"That with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ will be magnified in my body, whether by life or by death. For me to live is Christ, and to die is gain...for I am hard pressed between the two having a desire to depart and be with Christ, which is far better. Never the less to remain in the flesh is more needful for you."
