Things I've learned walking with the cross etc. New! New! New! The cross in Israel and surrounding areas! During late March and early April, Denise, Sophia and I carried the cross in Israel, Jerusalem, just beside Gaza and the West Bank. It was a blessed and fruitful trip as we saw a number of people receive Jesus as Savior and the witness of Jesus was made known to many. We were able to strengthen believers and be a witness to many of the cross and our willingness to go into the most dangerous places with our family, friends and the cross openly for Jesus.  For several days four friends were with us. Tom and JoAnn Doyle, Megan and Julia. They were loving and fearless and our deepest thanks to them. As a team we carried the cross near Ashkelon and the Northern border crossing entrance but the border was closed because of fighting and rockets, etc. We then went to the Southern area at the junction of Gaza, Egypt and Israel. This too was closed. Israeli army troops warned us we could be shot at any moment. A week later a tank missile on that same road hit a school bus. We then carried the cross in Be'er Sheva that had been hit by rockets. We went on to Jericho for a glorious crosswalk in that historic area. Then to Ramallah and the city center and met with soldiers and some leaders there. Our friends left at that point to another Middle-Eastern country and we went to Jerusalem and carried the cross around the outside walls of Jerusalem! I've carried the cross a number of times in Jerusalem but never around it. This took us through many areas of bitterness and strife. However we were wonderfully received my almost all the people in every area.  In Jerusalem I baptized Sophia as she wanted to be baptized since she was saved a few weeks before. Afterward she baptized Denise and me! It was an unreal view from the pool overlooking the walls of the old city. What a powerful time. Jesus led us and covered us with His protection and glory. Thanks for your support to send us on this mission. We pray for peace. May the peace the angels proclaimed at the birth of Jesus "Peace on Earth, good will toward men" be a reality there and in all the earth!  Went to Southern California and filmed 13 programs for "The Message of the Cross" program series about how to share Jesus. These air on TBN TV most weeks on Tuesdays at 4pm PST.
We also filmed with 5 Hi-Def cameras at the beach six special TV programs that well could be a part of the greatest soul winning harvest of my life. I can't say more but just be sure to watch the movie below and keep watching until after the end of the film. |
