Support Us

Solutions at Work serves about 6,000 homeless and low-income people annually.  Our programs are at maximum capacity and we are in the heartbreaking position of having to turn people away.

Please make a financial contribution today.  With your support, we will help even more people achieve self sufficiency.

A Peek at Our Programs

Helping Young Minds Flourish

Children's Clothing Exchange Program Participant

Did you know that Solutions at Work distributes over 7,500 books annually to children in need through our Children's Clothing Exchange? In a recent Reading is Fundamental study, children's book ownership programs were shown to have positive behavioral, educational, and psychological outcomes. You can help a young person's mind flourish by donating your gently used children's books to Solutions at Work today!

Putting Used Furniture to Great Use

Donated kitchen table and chairs

We are pleased to offer a new service to our supporters. For a modest fee, our movers will pick up your gently used furniture and deliver it to one of our local furniture bank partners. Everyone wins with this new service. We pay our movers, most of whom are transitioning out of poverty, to perform the service. Our partner furniture bank, Household Goods Recycling of Massachusettsreceives much needed inventory. You, the donor, are supporting not one but two organizations dedicated to ending poverty. And, your donation is tax deductible to boot! For quotes and availability in your area please contact Moving Up Program Manager TJ Williams at 617-492-0300 ext. 1 or twilliams@solutionsatwork.org.
