Wells Fargo to Fund Financial Management Workshop Series
The Northeastern California Small Business Development Center (SBDC) program, a part of the Center for Economic Development at California State University, Chico, has been awarded a $35,000 grant from Wells Fargo Bank to support financial management workshops throughout Northeastern California.
The goal of the Small Business Financial Management workshops is to help small-business owners understand their financial situation and prepare themselves for growth and expansion.

The workshops will help participants become more sophisticated borrowers, prepare loan-ready small-business owners and increase the number of small-business owners who have access to capital, thus improving the area's economic climate through job creation.  In addition to the workshops, small-business owners will also have access to one-on-one business consulting services and comparative financial analysis of their small business offered by a local Northeastern California SBDC office.

Ripke said Wells Fargo is a vital partner with the Northeastern California SBDC network, working closely with small-business owners interested in expanding into new markets, creating innovative products and growing their operations. The Northeastern California SBDC centers and staff look forward to working with Wells Fargo to help support regional entrepreneurs and small-business owners, he said.
