Via Services Offers Social Group Classes

Dates released for P.A.L.S.

Via Services is now offering P.A.L.S. - Pragmatic Awareness Language Skills - a social communication group for children ages 4-6. The group will be led by a speech language pathologist and an early childhood educator with a focus on expanding language skills through participation in various activities that will challenge the child's social, communication, cognitive and motor skills.

In addition to group therapy, Via's First Step team also provides individual speech and occupational therapy as well as Early Start Assessments for Santa Clara County to determine a child's developmental level and recommend placement for early intervention services.

          Via West Campus Gives Back

Holiday weekends to promote community giving

Via West Campus is preparing for its annual holiday themed weekend programs in December - "All I Want for Xmas" and "Jingle Bell Rock". Via West, a program of Via Services, Inc., offers year-round day and residential programs for adults and children with disabilities, ages 5 and older. The campus is located in the Cupertino foothills.

Adult and child participants will learn the importance of giving back to the community, along with learning social skills, iPads and technology, and independent living skills with an emphasis on living healthy. With the help of the Rotary Club of Cupertino, participants will be stuffing stockings to donate to the Women and Children's Shelter in San Jose.  If you would like to contribute items for the stockings, please click here for a list of desired items.
