Event Volunteers Needed for Season of Harmony Concerts

HON

It takes a great deal of coordinated effort to present a concert event. When you consider that a majority of the concert we will be on stage, it's only logical that we need other people to do EVERYTHING ELSE! If you can help us on November 22nd with either the matinee or evening event, or BOTH, please register online by visiting our partners at Hands on Nashville.

A Few Words From One of our Advisory Board Members

Hello friends. My name is Roger White and I have been singing for over 40 years. Singing has always been a big part of my
life. My talent even helped to provide me with a scholarship to college. I've also been blessed in my life to have traveled the world and sung in places such as Carnegie Hall, the Sydney Opera House and the White House among many others.

Singing is something that I'm very passionate about. Did you know that  there are literally millions of people in America who love to sing? How many times have you been driving down the road and seen someone in another car singing at the top of their lungs to their favorite tunes? Are you one of those people? I am. If you are reading this I would guess that you are too. Like the Nashville Singers,Singing Nation exists to encourage and promote singing. Aspects from coaching to performance are topics here. Whether you sing for enjoyment or because it's your career, please join our community in your pursuit. It doesn't matter the genre(s) you sing or the experience you have, we look forward to having you be a part of Singing Nation. Signing up is free and only takes a moment of your time. So what are you waiting for. Sign up now

   This Day In Music

October 6,
1969 - George Harrison's song 'Something' was released as the "A" side of a Beatles' 45, a first for Harrison. Along with Lennon and McCartney's Come Together, the single went on reach No.1 on the US chart the following month.

"You just have to keep trying to do good work, and hope that it leads to more good work. I want to look back on my career and be proud of the work, and be proud that I tried everything. Yes, I want to look back and know that I was terrible at a variety of things." - Jon Stewart
