We Made The List ..... Again!

Every year, the Nashville Business Journal publishes their Book of Lists, which provides readers with listings of hundreds of the hottest area companies in their fields, by ranking. The list includes the names of key decision makers, along with their titles and complete contact information.

The newest publication ranks the Nashville Singers 7th on the list of the "Top 20" performing arts organizations in Middle Tennessee. As a result, we were featured in the June 13th issue of the Nashville Business Journal.

Board Planning Retreat This Saturday

The board will meet for our annual all-day planning session at the activities center at Treetop Adventure Park at the Nashville Shores Resort this Saturday morning at 8:00am.

Nashville Singers Tapped To Perform the Star Spangled Banner at a Nashville Storm game on June 28

The Nashville Storm is a semi-professional/minor league outdoor football team entering their 11th season of play and their 1st season of play in the National Football Association (after playing their first 10 years of play in the NAFL and PSFL). They are an amateur rather than a professional football organization, although they feature numerous players who have played football professionally in the past or who will play football professionally in the future.

In 2010, the Nashville Storm finished 15-0 in their last season in the NAFL and won the national championship. In 2011, the Nashville Storm won the PSFL championship in their first year in the league.

The game will be held at 7:00pm at Antioch High School The anthem is scheduled for 6:50pm.

This Day In Music

June 16, 1964 - The Rolling Stones paid $2,500 in return air fares from America back to the UK to honor a booking made a year earlier for $170 at Magdalen College Oxford. Local group, The Falling Leaves were the support act, and the Stones' bass player, Bill Wyman, had to use one of the Oxford band's amplifiers because of a malfunction with their equipment.
