"Music Makes a Difference" Grant Recipients Announced

Before they performed the last song of their set on our Spring Spectacular Concert , the Music City Youth Orchestra was pleasantly surprised to hear the announcement that their 501c3 nonprofit was one of the three organizations to be receiving a music education grant of $750.00 from the Nashville Singers in 2014. The complete list of recipients will be announced a week from today in this newsletter.

   Spring Spectacular Lives Up To Its Name

The Nashville Singers are joined by members of the TuneTown Show Chorus
to present the song "Cups" (When I'm Gone)

The TuneTown Show Chorus, under the direction of Dusty Schleier
wows the crowd with their mix of vocal and visual brilliance!

Showcasing incredible talent, the Music City Youth Orchestra performing under the direction of Interim Music Director Elias Salazar.

  The Big Payback Generates $1,235.00
 in Donations to the Nashville Singers  
 

This community-wide, online giving day hosted by The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee on May 6, 2014 raised almost $1.5M for 525 area nonprofits.

Thanks to the generosity of 16 donors, the Nashville Singers received gifts totaling $1,235.00

This fundraising event is being held to benefit Hunter Garstin, a brave 15 year old who suffered a terrible spinal cord injury during a wrestling match last December.
