Music City Bowl Performance Today  

LP FieldMCB

For the second consecutive year, the Nashville Singers have been asked to provide entertainment at the Music City Bowl at LP Field. We will be singing from 12:30pm to 2:00pm. Chorus call is noon. 

Highlights from 2013 Member Satisfaction Survey   

Based on an 82% sampling of total membership


General Assessment

  • 100% of respondents feel welcome in the Nashville Singers
  • 64% of respondents stated they are satisfied with their participation in Nashville Singers activities
  • 50% of respondents stated that being a part of the Nashville Singers is the highlight of their choral-singing experience
  • 43% of respondents stated their experience in the Nashville Singers is very enjoyable

Administration of the Chorus

  • 93% of respondents reported they have assisted the chorus with non-singing tasks/activities
  • 64% of respondents who volunteered to help with non-singing tasks/activities did so because they were asked
  • 50% of respondents who helped with non-singing tasks/activities did so voluntarily, without being asked

Communication

  • 92% of respondents stated that they were pleased with the level of communication about chorus activities
  • 86% of respondents feel comfortable sharing their concerns with chorus leadership
  • 79% of respondents feel that website content about chorus activities is reasonable
  • 79% of respondents feel the volume of email communication about chorus activities is reasonable
  • 71% of respondents feel that email communication about chorus activities is useful
  • 71% of respondents feel that website content about chorus activities is reasonable
  • 71% of respondents stated that content on the chorus website is useful

Family Involvement

  • 93% of respondents stated that family members were supportive of their involvement with the chorus

Marketing & PR

  • 93% of respondents feel marketing and PR efforts are adequate

Meeting Location

  • 93% of respondents feel our meeting location is convenient   

Cost of Membership

  • 100% of respondents stated the cost of member costuming is reasonable
  • 100% of respondents stated the cost of other chorus-related expenses is reasonable
  • 93% of respondents stated the cost of member dues is reasonable   

Membership Retention

  • 78% of respondents feel time allocated to fellowship was adequate
  • 71% of respondents stated they would definitely be renewing their membership   

Music Program

  • 100% of respondents stated they enjoy our meetings/rehearsals
  • 93% of respondents feel music education opportunities are adequate
  • 92% of respondents stated that meetings/rehearsals are well-organized
  • 86% of respondents feel leadership development opportunities are adequate
  • 86% of respondents feel time allocated to CD project preparation was adequate
  • 77% of respondents stated that the length of meetings/rehearsals was reasonable
  • 71% of respondents feel learning 10 new songs per year is just right
Performances
  • 86% of respondents feel time allocated to concert preparation was adequate   

Schedule

  • 100% of respondents stated that meeting dates are convenient
  • 100% of respondents stated that meeting times are convenient
  • 100% of respondents stated they would stay with the chorus if we started rehearsing every Thursday evening
  • 62% of respondents stated that the ideal number of meetings/rehearsals per month would be three

Repertoire - When asked to rank their song preferences respondents generated data that ranked Nashville Singers repertoire from most popular to least popular
