Where Are We Going As An Organization? The vision of Nashville Singers is to be a dynamic choral leader, enriching lives through the performance of significant music; collaborating with highly engaged, skilled donors to make a substantive impact on music education in our schools and the community. 2009-2020 Strategic Vision - six cornerstone elements - Nashville Singers is recognized as one of the premier choral organizations in North America, and serves as an artistic incubator.
- Nashville Singers will continue to produce choral performances that exemplify the highest standards of musicianship, artistry and entertainment.
- Nashville Singers will strengthen organizational sustainability by building audiences and achieving long-term sustainable funding, with corporate sponsors, major individual donors, a planned giving program, and a financial reserve.
- Nashville Singers will increase local and national awareness of the Nashville Singers brand through public and television performances, webcasts, and by nurturing relationships with churches, schools, and other arts organizations.
- Nashville Singers will support and enrich our members, leadership, volunteers, and designated charitable organizations.
- Nashville Singers has artists who want to appear as guest performers with the chorus.
A strategic plan covering the years 2009 to 2020 was created by our Executive Director and approved by our board of directors. This planning process involved envisioning the future of our organization and translating that vision into defined goals, objectives, and steps to achieve them.

A Few Words From One of Our 2013 Grant Recipients
Dear Mr. Wilson, We are most excited to learn that our Fine Arts Academy has been selected as one of your organizations recipients of the Music Makes a Difference Grant. Your organization's generous support will allow us to purchase much needed practice choral risers. These risers will be located in our main choral teaching room on the Ezell-Harding campus and will be a great help to many students and choral groups across our campus. Thank you for your contributions to the Nashville community through schools and music organizations both through the grant program as well as your many other outreach efforts. Together we are and will continue to make a difference in the lives of our students through music. Sincerely, Laura Ice Ezell-Harding Christian School Fine Arts Academy Director Mrs. Ice graduated from Lipscomb University in 1997 with a B.S. in Elementary Education. This is her 7th year at Ezell-Harding. During her time at EHCS, Mrs. Ice has taught in the classroom as well as direct chorus for all ages, taught drama in the summer camp program, and directed or played accompaniment in the Elementary and Middle School plays and programs.

Meet One of Our Recent Guests - Michael Thornton
The Nashville Singers were pleased to welcome Michael Thornton at our last rehearsal. He heard about the us from Dr. Gary Wilson, the Director of Choral Activities at Lipscomb University. Gary also serves on the Nashville Singers Advisory Board. Michael and Gary have known each other for many years and have sung together on several occasions.
Michael has been I have involved with singing groups for all of his adult life including the A Cappella Chorus at Lipscomb, The Lipscomb University Community Chorus and others. He has recorded several CD's with Faith, Family, and Friends and also performed with The Thoroughbreds Barbershop Chorus out of Louisville, KY.
When asked for feedback about his first night, Michael remarked, "Thanks for the great time at rehearsal last night. What a wonderful group of singers! I was especially impressed with the welcoming spirit that everyone showed me. I also enjoyed the professionalism of the group while still having a playful attitude."
