How CNG affects Owasso and Oklahoma.
Tom began his involvement in the compressed natural gas (CNG) industry in 1989 when a major oil company approached him to build a CNG station at the midway Truck Stop between Tulsa and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. As a result, Tulsa Gas Technologies (TGT) was established and the first TGT dispenser was manufactured in July, 1990. Tom incorporated his company in June, 1991 and is President in charge of Sales and Operations. At that time he made his brother, Charlie Sewell, a partner in TGT.

Special Meeting with Congressman James Lankford | |
We had the opportunity to meet privately with Congressman James Lankford on Friday, April 5th. Congressman Lankford represents the 5th District in Oklahoma. He serves on House Committees on Budget and Oversight and Government Reform. He is the Chairman of the Subcommittee on Energy Policy, Health Care, and Entitlements. He is also Chairman of the House Republican Policy Committee for the 113th Congress. Issues discussed included transportation, Port of Catoosa expansion and EPA standards.

Blue Star Mothers of America, Inc. is a 501C3 non-profit service organization. We support our troops by giving emotional support and by sending packages to deployed soldiers. We also support our veterans.
In 2012, with your help, we were able to send out over 1,300 care packages to local soldiers serving active duty.

| Day At The Capitol | 
Over 150 representatives of the OneVoice Regional Coalition traveled to the state capitol on Wednesday, April 17. The Owasso delegation consisted of Chamber Chairman, Jeri Moberly, Board Members Chuck Mitchell and Travis Weide, and chamber president, Gary Akin. Also attending was John Feary with the City of Owasso. The purpose of the trip was to present regional legislative initiatives to our elected officials and to gain their support or determine reasons for non-support. Legislative issues included education, worker's compensation reform, US 169 expansion and health care services. |
