There will be a lifetime of knowing that I have. " --Unknown

Fundraising Tips

Fundraising with Restaurant Nights

*Information provided by Deane Brengle

A restaurant night fundraiser requires virtually no planning and very little investment from your group.

Here's how it works: The restaurant gives your group a percentage of the sales on a designated night for all the customers that your organization brings to their business.

Click here for more information and list of restaurants.

No Federal or Marine Corps endorsements of advertisers or sponsors is implied.

Meet the Yellow Ribbon Warriors

Team Yellow Ribbon Warriors is a group of friends and patriots who are dedicated to raising money for our nation's greatest heroes, while simultaneously training for the Marine Corps Marathon.

Established in 2011, our team has collected over $50,000 for
the Semper Fi Fund thro
ugh garage sales, bake sales, poker runs, silent auctions, virtual runs and individual fundraising.  We strive to include our community in our fundraising efforts and even our littlest warriors have been known to host lemonade stands and collect donations. This year, 2014, marks the fourth and final year for our amazing team.

Our team members consist mostly of wives of Marines and Sailors, but have also included active duty Marines, Sailors, brothers and sisters of Marines, in-laws, and friends. We race to show our gratitude and contribute to Semper Fi Fund's mission in providing for our wounded. Many of these wives and family members have trained for the Marine Corps Marathon while their husbands are deployed. They train, while simultaneously keeping the home fire burning, and supporting our heroes while they are away serving in combat abroad, lending the name Yellow Ribbon Warriors.

Many Yellow Ribbon Warriors alumni have gone on to serve as community outreach and case work volunteers for the Semper Fi Fund. We're very proud to see our team members use the Marine Corps Marathon as a stepping stone to further their experiences and help our nation's heroes.

Semper Fi Fund, and its program America's Fund, are set up to provide immediate financial assistance and lifetime support for injured and critically ill members of the U.S. Armed Forces and their families, directing urgently needed resources to post 9/11 service members of the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, and Reserves. Semper Fi Fund has been working with wounded service members since 2004, offering assistance to lessen the burden for those who need it most.
