THANK YOU Go Daddy and The Bob and Renee Parsons Foundation
 On Friday night, Go Daddy hosted a huge year-end Holiday party at Chase Field in Phoenix, AZ where Bob and Renee Parsons presented the Semper Fi Fund with checks totaling $2 million. The first $1 million check came from generous donors, including Go Daddy customers, the second $1 million check represented the matching funds from Go Daddy and the Bob and Renee Parsons Foundation who began their United States Marine Corps 237th birthday tribute with matching gifts campaign in November. On hand were approximately 5,000 employees and guests including Nascar driver Danica Patrick and IndyCar star James Hinchcliffe. Semper Fi Fund's Karen Guenther, Sondria Saylor, and Karen Kawachi accepted the check along with wounded service members, Eddie Wright, Tony Porta, Manny Delrio and Aaron Mankin. The Semper Fi Fund "Purple Heart Holiday Ornament Packing Party"
For the fourth consecutive year, the Semper Fi Fund is preparing to mail Purple Heart Holiday ornaments to Marines and Sailors who have been wounded since 9/11 and who have received the Purple Heart. To help with packing and shipping the ornaments, The Semper Fi Fund hosted its second annual "Purple Heart Ornament Packing Party" in Dale City, VA on December 2nd. Hundreds of volunteers - Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, military families, high school students, and so many more - devoted their time and their hearts to ensuring that these special ornaments will be received in time for the holidays.
