Middle and High School Semester Superstars!
Congratulations to these local middle and high school semester superstar teachers who were recognized by the Chamber on February 2.  

Honored teachers included: Sherrie Barber, Princeton High; Megan Beck, Smithfield-Selma High; Marjorie Harris, Neuse Charter; Kay Boyd, Smithfield Middle; Matt Johnson, Early College; Ray King, Neuse Charter; Titania Methvin, Middle College; Yasmin Monroe, South Campus Middle; Shannon Snipes, Selma Middle and Jeffery Waters, South Campus High.

The luncheon was sponsored by the Super 8 Hotel and Triangle Insurance & Benefits.

Inclusion Park leaders are Citizens of the Year
At the 45th annual meeting on January 26, the Smithfield-Selma Chamber honored two people who who have been the inspiration behind the the Inclusion Park for special needs children, currently being built at Smithfield Community Park. Dwight Morris and Chris Key have been known to kiss animals and go to jail to raise money for this tremendous cause.
