There will be a free paper shredding event open to the public on Saturday, July 20 from 10 am to 1 pm in the parking lot of Pine Needle Square, 721 N. Bright Leaf Boulevard in Smithfield.
  
Don't let identity theft happen to you. Make sure that papers with personal information that you no longer need are shredded! Take advantage of this free opportunity.

RIBBON CUTTING AT QUALITY 1ST AUTOMOTIVE JULY 25

Ribbon Cutting Chamber members are invited to a ribbon cutting for Quality 1st Automotive on Thursday, July 25 at 11 am. The company, owned by Tony Woodard and Robbie Stephenson, is located at 953 N. Bright Leaf Boulevard in Smithfield.

A great turnout of Chamber members enjoyed Business After Hours at Anna Kate's Gifts and Monogramming on June 27. Anna Kate Nall (holding "Boo Boo" her pet bunny rabbit) and her mother Carolyn Nall, operate the store on South Bright Leaf Boulevard that features unique gifts for any age. 

 

NEW VISUAL IMPROVEMENT SIGNS
2013 Ambassadors

The Chamber Ambassadors have received new signs for the Visual Improvement Award. This recognition can be given to any Chamber member who has made outside improvements to his or her property, including renovation, landscaping or new construction. Shown with a new sign are: (first row) Dan Wise, Christina Peterson, Kim McCullers, Dwight Morris, Teresa Daughtry, Earl Worley and (second row) Jeanette Carter, Traci Ashley, Sherry Harris, Karen Henthorn and Rick Childrey.
