Traffic heading eastbound on Cimarron Street will detour on southbound Nevada Avenue, back to I-25. Traffic heading westbound on Cimarron Street wishing to turn onto southbound I-25 will detour using northbound I-25 to Bijou Street, turn left on Bijou Street, then get back onto southbound I-25. Overnight Lane Restrictions on
Cimarron Street/US 24

Motorists will experience nightly lane restrictions on eastbound Cimarron Street/US 24
(between 8th Street and I-25). These lane restrictions are required for continued work for the realignment of the I-25 bridge over Cimarron Street/US 24. See chart below for specific dates/times.

I-25 Southbound Off-Ramp Loop Scheduled for Permanent Closure

In early May the traveling public will no longer utilize the existing southbound I-25 loop ramp to exit on to Cimarron Street/US 24. Instead, motorists will exit to the north of Cimarron Street/US 24, about a quarter mile south of the Bijou exit. The existing loop ramp has been in place for the past 56 years, so this will be an adjustment for everyone who frequents this area, watch for signage to direct you. CLICK HERE to view southbound off-ramp realignment.
