US 24 Intermittent Closures

Eastbound and westbound US 24 will have intermittent delays between I-25 and 8th Street from 4 to 6 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 15. Traffic will be stopped for approximately 15-minute intervals in order for Colorado Springs Utilities to remove overhead power lines. Please watch for Colorado Springs Police directing traffic.

Additional Truck Activity 

Continue to watch for increased truck traffic on I-25 and Cimarron between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday for the next few months as trucks haul material for embankment work.

Pay close attention when driving near the I-25/Cimarron Project. Slow down, observe speed limits and avoid distractions.
