The I-25/Cimarron Interchange Project Team wishes you a Happy Thanksgiving. For your safety, allow for extra driving time during this holiday weekend and pay attention to speed limits around the entire Colorado Springs I-25 Corridor.
Watch for increased overnight truck traffic between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. for the next several months. Trucks are hauling material at the temporary bridge, located between
I-25 and 8th Street on US 24.
Pay close attention when driving near the I-25/Cimarron Project. Slow down, observe speed limits and avoid distractions.

 How Do I Get Project Updates?
Project alerts are sent via email or text alert. To receive alerts, click www.cotrip.org, then click on the bright green telephone. Scroll down to the "Projects" list for I-25 and Cimarron Interchange.

 What Are The Project Goals? - Maximize overall safety, capacity and operation of the interchange and the surrounding transportation network within the Project budget;
- Complete Project construction to be fully operational before December 1, 2017;
- Minimize impacts and inconvenience to the community, motorists, businesses, downtown and the public during construction; and
- Achieve an aesthetically pleasing design compatible with current and future amenities and enhancements in and around the interchange.
