 Periodic Nighttime Lane Closures
Sept. 10 and 11

On Thursday, Sept. 10 and Friday, Sept. 11 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., drivers will encounter temporary periodic nighttime single-lane closures along southbound Interstate-25 while crews on the Colorado Department of Transportation's (CDOT) Interstate-25/Cimarron Interchange Design-Build Project build an access point for embankment work.

In addition, crews working on the Fillmore Project will have lane closures on Wednesday and Thursday, Sept. 9 and 10 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Expect lane closure impacts on both projects Thursday night, Sept. 10, so allow extra time to get to your destination.

Pay close attention when driving in and around the I-25/Cimarron Project. Due to increased truck activity entering and exiting traffic, drivers are urged to slow down, observe speed limits and avoid distractions. Speeds will be monitored.

REMINDER - Pikes Peak Greenway Trail
Open for Labor Day Weekend

Both sides of the Pikes Peak Greenway trail will be OPEN for Labor Day weekend. Signed detour routes will be in place for users to navigate around the closure. There will be intermittent closures of this trail throughout the project, slated to be complete in Fall 2017.

Stay on Designated Detour Routes

The Colorado Department of Transportation would like to remind trail users to stay on all designated trail detour routes. These detour routes have been constructed for the safety of pedestrians and bicyclists to avoid the I-25 Cimarron project construction zone. Thank you for your assistance in this matter.
The following is a summary of upcoming project construction activity.
