The third stakeholder workshop for the Westside Avenue Action Plan takes place in January, not December as was discussed during the November stakeholder workshop. This later date enables the consultant team time to develop more comprehensive information from which stakeholders will make recommendations to the project team.
Stakeholder Workshop #3:
When: 4-7 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013 (The meeting time has been extended to accommodate anticipated discussions.)

During Stakeholder Workshop #3, participants will review preliminary concepts for the three roadway cross-sections brought forward following Stakeholder Workshop #2 in November. Those alternatives include the current 4-lane configuration, a 3-lane configuration, and a 5-lane configuration. The design of each of the road alternatives being presented includes curb and gutter, sidewalks, and a four-foot accommodation for bike lanes. The discussion will focus on reviewing preferred roadway cross-sections.
