A big and sincere thank you to the many people who made Sunday's Annual Picnic a great success.  Our Men's Group Grilling Team (Ajayi Harris, Paul Ropp, Jim Tartaglia, and Seth Popinchalk) supplemented the always great and plentiful pot luck offerings with burgers and dogs (donated by Burr McDermott).  This year, we were entertained by the T-Square Rounders.
I also want to thank the many people who helped set-up, clean-up, and brought food.  Thank you to Diane Mandile for all of the work that she did in preparing the garden for the picnic.   Special thanks go whoever scheduled the picnic for the most perfect weather day of the year!

Living in the Tension - the quest for a spiritualized racial justice. Book reading and discussion, Thursday, June 23, 6:30-8:30pm at UUC of Worcester, 90 Holden St., Worcester. Click here for more info.

Yard Sale, Saturday, September 10 We need LOTS of gently-used stuff!  Pick up a box this Sunday at Church and bring it back full of smaller stuff.  And bring in bigger stuff, too.  We're collecting treasures now, and will store them until the yard sale. Click here for more info.

Again next year our Social Justice Committee is coordinating our 50-50 Donation Program, featuring a different local organization each month for 10 months, this coming September through next June. For more info or if you would like to nominate a local charitable organization online, click here.

During the summer the e-news is sent out once a week,
