New version of FaciliWorks 8i with enhanced email capabilities, PM/WO attachments and enhanced validation traceability
The upcoming version of FaciliWorks 8i will include some new features that will better ensure accountability, maximize productivity and improve the validation experience.

Automatic Email Events
The new automatic email events include 33 triggers and 4 reports. The reports include advanced notifications and overdue listings; the triggers range from assigning a PM or creating a PO to completing a work order and signing a record. Each trigger can have as many email rules as needed, which can include reminders and status updates for any need-to-know personnel. Automated email communication of this depth throughout your organization will improve accountability and compliance, maximize productivity and allow better tracking of work to be done.

Attachments for PMs and Work Orders
This new FaciliWorks version will allow you to attach instance-specific documents to work orders and PMs, such as the asset's warranty or service contract information, manuals, photos or special handling instructions. You can have all the information at your fingertips in the WO or PM without having to reference the asset record.

Validation Enhancements
The enhancements made to the validation experience include ultimate tracking of changes made to Assets, Tasks, WOs and PMs, as well as audit trail investigation and reporting.

Allowing User Personal Settings in FaciliWorks 8i
While you are assigning User IDs to specific security groups, you may want to allow one or more security groups the ability to configure the look and the feel of the application. To do so, the administrator must first navigate to Configuration -> Global Settings, check the Allow User Personal Settings checkbox at the bottom of that form and then click Save.

Now, the administrator can grant the security group access to these settings. Navigate to the Personnel -> Security -> Groups Permission tab. Select the group, click the Form radio button and then select Personal Settings in the associated drop-down list. Select Add Edit Delete permissions and then click Save.



Each User ID within the designated security group will now have the ability to set up personal preferences, like hiding main menu icons, changing the color theme and creating personalized shortcut links to critical areas of the application.
