Bauer's One Timers
Joe Bauer
  • The lockout continues and the news coming out of the negotiations does not seem promising.  We can only hope there will be a resolutions soon.  Every day it seems another star player signs with an overseas team.  I heard one media member covering the lock out put a 50% chance there will be games starting by Christmas.
  • If you're itching to see some NHL players you could check out the Defending the Blue Line charity game at Mariucci, Sunday October 28th at 7PM.  Here is the link for more information:  www.defendingtheblueline.org
  • I have tuned into watch a little of the Gopher Hockey team.  It looks like they should have a strong year.  They currently are rated 3rd in the country and Nick Bjugstad is worth watching all on his own.
