Corsican Dream!

At long last the Corsican order arrived. It might as well have come by tramp steamer! Our Corsican oils come from a biodynamic farm, and all wild harvested oils come from land that has been certified organic. We love France!

Petitgrain Clementine
Ultra sophisticated green woody vines, this is the finest distilled leaves, and small branches, along with a few blossoms and fruits. Petitgrain can be distilled from any citrus tree but Corsica is famous for Clementines.

Petitgrain Lime
Green and woody fruit, but with a sparkle of lime! Just like with your mojito, lime gives a characteristic kick like no other. Distilled from leaves, twigs, and a few lime blossoms.

Stinging Nettle
Co-distillation in Copaiba Balsam
Mouth watering and delicious, mashed stinging nettles were one of my favorite dishes in Bulgaria-mixed with tomatoes and Balkan cheese. Notes of the forest floor, wild berries, rain, and mossy tree trunks complete this oil. Stinging nettle is going to add an interesting  and unusual note to your perfume. It's co-distilled in copaiba balsam, which is a great fixative.

Hay
Co-distillation in Copaiba
Also co-distilled in copaiba balsam. This is a hay unlike any you may have smelled as an absolute. It's Hay with a deep dark tobacco note, some deep dark vetiver notes, and an encompassing richness from the center of the earth, all loam and magma. Hay has the sense of a rainy summer evening, darkness and hidden emotions. Sluggishly rising from a dreamlike torpor, this hay oil is the mother of base notes, with every element of the earth and its nether regions in abundance.

Iris
alcohol extract
Ultrasonic vibrations make the molecules pop into the alcohol and we end up with a beautiful poignant violet shimmering richness. This is a classic aroma, a direct path to the beautiful fragrances of the past.

Rosemary Verbenon
This is our wonderful lovely Corsican rosemary, distilled from flowering tops, and it's the most magical rosemary ever! Rosemary verbenon is the one you want for skincare, the one you want for anything to do with the liver. This rosemary is a distant relation to ordinary rosemary, a fabulous, elegant duchess perhaps.

Laurel
As bright as can be, this lovingly picked organic laurel is the perfect accompaniment to getting that lymph moving in an early morning shower. This laurel is strong and vibrant, complex and very aromatic.
