New Workshops & Books in 2013!

The New Year is upon us, and there are plenty of things to look forward to in 2013! The Grants & Nonprofit Info Center is offering a one-time only program entitled "Policies Every Nonprofit Organization Should Consider Having" on January 23rd from 3:30 to 6:15pm at the Joel D. Valdez Main Library. This workshop will examine many kinds of organizational policies that can help drive an organization to its next level of performance: those pertaining to programs, fundraising, marketing, staff development, volunteers, and board organization. We've also ordered two new books related to fundraising: Money for the Cause: a Complete Guide to Event Fundraising and The Volunteers' Guide to Fundraising. We've also listened to your input and have changed program times, such as the Grants Databases Open Labs, to be more accessible to folks who volunteer with nonprofits but still have a regular full-time job. Keep tuned in to the Grants & Nonprofit Info Center, as we're sure to be hosting many more new workshops throughout the year.
