It was exciting to see more than 50 people and 7 organizations (Alice Ferguson Foundation, Chesapeake Bay Trust, Neighborhood Design Center, Groundswell, Prince George's County DOE, UMD Ag Extension and Environmental Finance Center) turn out for a lively evening of connecting with each other to share project ideas and seek assistance. Attendees reported on their experiences completing, and their hopes for initiating, a variety of sustainability projects like green streets, residential composting programs, renewable energy co-ops, tool-sharing programs and more. Look for Sustainable Maryland to host more Green Team Summits next year!
