BrightHaven is an integral part of SARA. The animals, Gail and Richard Pope, and all the staff provide a beautiful space for teaching and healing. Kathleen is honored to offer her Level 1, 2 and 3 Reiki classes at BrightHaven, a non-profit organization dedicated to the holistic care and rescue of senior, special needs and hospice animals in Santa Rosa, California.

Kathleen has been teaching monthly Reiki classes at BrightHaven since 2005, and considers the animals there to be her skilled Reiki teaching assistants and guides. Students can feel the energy of love and peace as soon as they walk through BrightHaven's doors; what a wonderful and supportive place to learn Reiki! BrightHaven is not only a model sanctuary, hospice and rescue network, it is also Gail and Richard Pope's home, and they extend incredible hospitality to all Kathleen's students. Kathleen Prasad is giving a talk on Reiki for Animals on Thursday, June 20, from 6:30-8pm at Holistic Hound in Berkeley CA. Cost: $15, proceeds benefit Guide Dogs for the Blind. Kathleen will share some readings from her latest book, Reiki for Dogs, during the talk. This is an opportunity to find out what Reiki is, what a Reiki practitioner does and does NOT do, how Reiki can help dogs, what creates a successful treatment and more. Kathleen will also lead a group meditation for canine healing.
