Maurice Stevens and Robin Wright of Ohio State University's Kirwan Institute for the Study of Race and Ethnicity examine implicit bias - unconscious attitudes or stereotypes based on race, nationality, and other characteristics affecting our judgments about others.

The Beauty of Storms in Image and Word - Stephen Locke, Caryn Mirriam-Goldberg
Storm-chasing photographer Stephen Locke and former Kansas poet laureate Caryn Mirriam-Goldberg spotlight their book Chasing Weather: Tornadoes, Tempests, and Thunderous Skies in Word and Image, which inspired their exhibit now on display at the Central Library.

Clarina Nichols: Frontier Crusader for Women's Rights - Diane Eickhoff
Author Diane Eickhoff tells the remarkable story of Clarina Nichols, who helped set the stage for women's suffrage in Kansas, in a discussion of her new book - a young adult adaptation of her 2006 biography of Nichols.

Measured Space
This original exhibition features the ambitious sculptural works of three teaching artists, Brian Caponi, Shawn Murrey, and Thomas Schmidt, who employ a range of materials and fabrication processes in exploring philosophies relating to construction, technology, and place.

Chasing Weather
This new exhibit conveys the beauty and poetry of turbulent weather, pairing 17 of photographer Stephen Locke's most arresting images with the prose of former Kansas poet laureate Caryn Mirriam-Goldberg.
