World War II veteran Dick Cole joins Park University professor Dennis Okerstrom for a discussion of the 1st Air Commando Group, a forerunner to modern special operations units. Cole was a member of the team.

MetroGreen Trails - Mark McHenry, Greg Ruether, Janet Snook Bartnik, Tom Jacobs, and Henry Fortunato
Kansas City is brimming with trails, and a panel of experts moderated by noted pedestrian Henry Fortunato and including the heads of recreation departments in Overland Park, Liberty, and Kansas City offer a thumbnail guide to the area's best walks.

Apron Strings: Ties to the Past
The humble apron gets a fascinating re-evaluation in this traveling exhibit of vintage and contemporary kitchen aprons. The exhibit looks at the way they became vehicles for self-expression and signaled evolving attitudes toward women and domestic work.

Cowtown: History of the Kansas City Stockyards
For more than a century the Kansas City Stockyards fed a hungry nation. This new exhibit features a historical treasure trove of photographs, blueprints, maps, drawings, and documents celebrating the city's great economic engine.
