On display through December 29, 2013 Central Library, 14 W. 10th St. Guerrillas in Our Midst This original exhibit from the Library's Missouri Valley Special Collections employs vintage photographs and illustrations to tell the story of the border conflict that raged between Missouri and Kansas before, during, and after the Civil War.

On display through 2013 Central Library, 14 W. 10th St. New Compositions: The Dance Portraiture of Orval Hixon This exhibit highlights the local legend's rich selection of photographic portraits, including images of some of the best-known dancers of his time.

On display December 7, 2013 through January 31, 2014 Central Library, 14 W. 10th St. Stargazing For more than 30 years John C. Tibbetts has attended Hollywood film junkets, not only interviewing stars but also creating portraits that his subjects signed. This exhibit features more than 80 of his favorite celebrity depictions.
