November - All Month All Library Locations Family Read Aloud Month Throughout November, the Library and Turn the Page KC encourage families to spend at least one hour each week reading aloud to one another. Pick up a reading log at any Library location and return it to be entered into a drawing for prizes.

November 10, 2012 - January 6, 2013 Central Library, 14 W. 10th St. Alert Today, Alive Tomorrow: Living With the Atomic Bomb, 1945-65 This exhibit looks at how everyday citizens during the Cold War responded to the constant threat of nuclear war at home, at school, in their communities, and at play.
