Welcome New Board Members

The Morton Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors welcomes Brian Cross of Morton Buildings and Tim Mueller of Morton Community Bank to the Board in 2016. 

 

Darren Martin of Caterpillar will be President, David Zern of Kuhl Insurance will be Vice President, and Shelly Hunt of Morton Community Bank will be Treasurer.

 

Thank you to outgoing Board members Jenna Grimm and Tyler Petersen for their service to the Chamber.

Business Briefs
IT360 is pleased to announce Gina Tillman has been hired as a Service Coordinator in the Peoria office. Her initiative and ability to effectively multi-task will further the company's ability to exceed client's expectations.

Patty Fuchs, CEO of Goodwill Industries of Central Illinois, has announced her retirement after 22 years of leading the organization. Her retirement will be effective in June 2016. The search for a new CEO will officially launch January 2016.
Facade Grants are Due January 30

Several project bids and a design rendering must be included in the application. 


If your business is located in the Morton Business District and you are considering a building facade or signage update, you might consider applying for a Morton Facade Improvement Grant.  Grants of up to 50% of a project ($10,000 grant maximum) are considered for projects that meet application guidelines.  Grant applications must be submitted to the Village of Morton offices by January 30th.
