Volunteer Learning Updates
Outdoor Trainers Needed!
Love the outdoors? We are looking for current volunteers who want to become outdoor trainers. Attend a free workshop at Camp Cosmo in Grand Island, July 25-26.
Camp Out (Basic) COMING!
New this fall, we will introduce Camp Out (Basic). This six-hour outdoor learning opportunity will replace Sleep Out Camp Out AND Lodge Out Cabin Out. Volunteers wanting to build a fire and/or cook outdoors will complete this learning opportunity. Look for more details coming soon!

This is the can't-miss program for girls who are ready to be tomorrow's leaders! YWECamp pairs Girl Scouts with women business leaders for one-to-one mentoring in a camp setting. PSA Contest!
Free Being Me is a global leadership initiative recently launched by Girl Scouts in partnership with Dove. Combined with "It's Your Story-Tell It!" Journey materials, the Free Being Me curriculum helps girls define beauty for themselves and boost their self-confidence. Girls are invited to create PSA videos that show the qualities that make them unique!

The Best Me: Mind, Body, Soul
During the 2014-15 Girl Scout year, our council theme will focus on wellness and we've planned many programs designed to help girls (and adults) be healthy and strong. We'll kick off the theme with statewide events on Saturday, September 27. Mark your calendars and watch for more details about this family-friendly event in the 2014-2015 Annual Program Book coming later this summer!

Visit Timberlake Ranch Camp and spend a day enjoying fun outdoor activities - horseback rides, paddle boats, human foosball, swimming and more! Test your endurance with a chance to fly through the skies on a blob located in the middle of the lake!

Enjoy summer fun at Lakeview Cabin! Activities include horseback riding, canoeing, swimming, crafts, exploring nature, outdoor cooking, evening campfires and perhaps archery. Registered Girl Scout adult volunteers are needed. There is no cost for adult volunteers.

Pump It Up where imaginations come to play. Pump It Up makes every party hassle free for mom or host. Every party is private, supervised and filled with fun! There are two huge arenas filled with inflatables, games and more. Pump It Up can host Girl Scout groups, field trips, birthday parties, summer camp, parents' night out and more.
