Change the World!  

The 2014 Cookie Program is just around the corner and we are ready to help girls Change the World. To get started, troops need to attend a training where you will receive all necessary materials. Troop Cookie Managers (TCM) and Cookie Booth Managers (CBM) are required to attend the training. Remember to submit your Cookie Intent Form and Bank Account Information form if you have not already done so.

January 15: Initial Cookie Orders Due
February 3 - 7: Initial Cookie Order Delivery
February 7 - March 9: Direct Door-to-Door Sales
February 14 - March 9: Cookie Booth Sales
February 26, March 12 and March 21: ACH Withdrawal

Finding Your Voice

On September 28, hundreds of girls across the state participated in our Finding Your Voice: The Power of Media kick-off events! But that was only the beginning...we will continue to offer programs related to this theme throughout the year. We are also encouraging girls to express themselves through writing, art, music, social media and more, and to think critically about media messaging and its impact.

Fall learning sessions are still happening. Check out the   in-person learning schedule or complete the online learning so you can be well-equipped to lead your girls!

 

Girls in grades 6-12 can attend Program Aide training to prepare them for the next level Leadership Experience - leading songs, games, ceremonies and more with younger Girl Scouts. Sign up here.

 

When is the last time you completed a background screen? All volunteers must complete an online background screen every three years. For more information, contact the volunteer development specialist in your area. 

artVenture

artVenture 2014

artVenture is a unique program that matches small groups of girls with talented artists to create collaborative artwork for our spring art auction fundraisers. Youth Artist Applications are now available online.  Download the form, fill it out and email, fax or mail along with the $5 application fee.
