Greetings!

The "e" in this e-Newsletter stands for "excitement" because we have exciting news to share: We have officially launched the sparkling new GirlScoutsNebraska.org!

We listened to our volunteers and members, rearranged sections, designed, developed, reviewed and tested, and we now have a site that we hope will better serve your needs!

As with any project of this size, there may be links that aren't working, or things we didn't catch during the review. If you find something, or simply want to share your thoughts, we would love to hear from you!

Send your feedback to our marketing team by email.

DayofGirl

TODAY is International Day of the Girl!

In 2011, the United Nations passed a resolution to declare October 11, International Day of the Girl; a day to promote "worldwide enthusiasm for goals to better girls' lives, providing an opportunity to them to show leadership and reach their full potential." Hey, that's what Girl Scouts does, too!

Use your voice to join girls worldwide in celebrating International Day of the Girl.

GiveToGirls

One girl makes a difference;

girls together can change the world.

On October 31, in honor of Juliette Low's birthday, we are asking everyone to Give to Girls. Your online gift of $50, $100, $250 or any amount will help us deliver the Girl Scout Leadership Experience to more than 17,500 Nebraska girls. You will also help provide leader training and support, programs and camps, financial assistance and so much more!

Participation patches are available at the $25 and $100 level for families. Alumnae and other donors will receive an "I Give to Girl Scouts" static cling to proudly display.  For questions, please contact Jenny Cardwell, 402-875-4345.
